The End of the F***ing World S02 – Storyline:

The show’s latest season has decided to take its sweet time, instead spending the first episode introducing Naomi Ackie as Bonnie, a young woman who was sexually involved with serial killer Clive Koch (Jonathan Aris) , Episode two is also in no rush to tie up its loose ends, kicking off with Alyssa’s (Jessy Barden) story.

She was ordered to carry out community service after the events of last season, her creepy step-dad Tony (Navin Chowdhry) walked out on her mum Gwen (Christine Bottomley), and the pair of them, along with the twins, left their home and went to live with her mum’s half-sister. It was only supposed to be a temporary move, but they ended up living there for a year, with Alyssa working in her aunt’s cafe.

The End of the F***ing World S02 –
Review :

The good news is that season two of The End of the F***ing World stays true to the vibe of the first season, has a decently good but not great story and manages, by the end of the final episode (of eight in total), to have righted most of the wrongs that came before it. And yes, there are some missteps Luckily, it all worked out in a close enough approximation of the superb highs from the first go-round, but risking a third installment on a story that now seems exhausted wouldn’t be wise.
